BACKGROUND

Pete has more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow since 1995. He serves as senior client relationship manager and lead strategist for the Reuss Investment Group. Pete works with his clients to better understand their specific goals and designs a comprehensive investment management strategy to help ensure those goals are realized.

Pete is dedicated to helping clients in all aspects of their financial lives. By establishing lifelong partnerships, he has worked to foster an environment in which everyone involved can live the lives they envision. Pete exemplifies his team’s commitment to building life-long relationships and providing stellar service. Pete graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in finance, another bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education. He has earned Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 securities registrations and the Variable Life and Annuity licenses. In addition, he holds the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. He is a consistent Top 25 Producer at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow and has been awarded the John Sherman, Jr. Leadership Award and the Sterling Performer Award.

Aside from his academic and professional achievements, Pete has a zest for life. He lives at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach with his wife, Lynette; son, Cameron; and daughters, Kayla and Lauren. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and the drums and donating his time to the community. Pete believes strongly in giving back to those in need and donates his time to the Noblemen (formally the Robin Hoods of Virginia Beach) and several other charitable organizations.
